Kamamalu is a Big Island artist whose creative inspiration comes from her Hawaiian ancestry. Drawn to the human mutability and emotional expression of people, she focuses primarily on figures.

“With a person, there is so much to say” Kamamalu said of her work.

Many of her works are done with a palette knife, creating her distinctive style. Giclee prints and note cards are available at the gallery.
